Nas últimas aulas fizémos um balanço dos estudos sobre a fronteira, um dos temas a que conferimos centralidade no programa da cadeira. Olhámos para as periferias vendo-as como centros - não há periferia na periferia - em que os arranjos entre pessoas e grupos são decisivos, com uma difícil implantação das lealdades aos Estados centrais. Para a próxima sessão de seminário pedia-vos que pensassem nas duas citações que se seguem e que intervenham tendo em conta os conteúdos apreendidos.
